A/C Units

This modular air conditioning unit can be stacked 2 tall in its cradle, can have additional fans on the top or can just be used by its self as a wall mount. Nifty.

Brick Texture

For the brick texture i found a simple guide for making an off set variation by masking certain bricks varying every 4 tiles. this meant i would drastically decrease my tiling pattern on the brick walls on my level.

With the normal and specular on:

Sign

Making the sign was simple. I traced over one of my logo concepts and extruded backwards for the text. The stand is modular and is only temporarily here. The sign its self will be white neon and the logo will be a painted board. I think lighting wise the Sun will be behind it so it will give a gentle glow from the dark side of the level.

UPDATE: Extension

Here you see the roof top has been extended to match the concept and the apartment room has gone. It has been replaced by a service door.

UPDATE: Vents

Some vents, straight, 90 degrees, grill and base.

Here i have designed some modular piping for my level, these will go mostly around the water tower.

Here i have set out several sizes to see which looks the best from the player view and also the height will be determined this way.

After settling on the size and height i began to dress my scene with the modular assets. There is a straight, 90 degree and t-shaped pipe all can connect to each part perfectly and can be built however required.

Here you see them coming from the water tower and creeping across the roof floor to various outlets across the roof.

BSP

Here ive started with the BSP, placing extruded walls where windows will sit and a small wall around the roof. I have added the apartment back in for now.
